I hired Josh for a post-judgment modification. He explained the process clearly, gathered the right evidence, and handled negotiations efficiently. What could have dragged on for months was resolved in a structured settlement that protected my parenting time.
Josh is the kind of attorney you want beside you when everything feels uncertain. He communicates quickly, prepares thoroughly, and genuinely cares about his clients’ outcomes. Family law is emotional — he balances compassion with sharp legal strategy. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone facing a divorce or custody matter.
I interviewed three attorneys before hiring Josh. He was the only one who came prepared to our consultation having already reviewed my documents in detail. His attention to detail is unmatched. He is thorough, responsive, and very strong in court. If you need someone who actually fights for you, he’s your guy.
Divorce is brutal. Josh made it manageable. He kept communication clear, bills transparent, and strategy realistic. There were moments I wanted to react emotionally and he kept me focused on the long game. In the end, that discipline paid off. Highly recommend for high-conflict cases.
Never returns calls and staff is incompetent. Constantly nagged me for retainer payment stating my judge was going on maternity leave soon, 4 DAYS LATER I paid. Then of a sudden, they weren’t eager to pick up the phone anymore. Couldn’t get a callback nor email back about ANYTHING. What happened to the urgency?? Not even a Notice of Appearance was filed. Weeks later, I demanded a refund and was told a check would be sent out at the end of the month. Then told that they never received any emails from me…. Yeah, Okay. Last Friday, I called to inquire about the refund check and the girl on the phone flat out told me “the attorney said he’s either getting it ready right now or already shipped it out.” ….. what?? Huh?! Never a clear answer on ANYTHING. Really wish I would’ve read reviews before handing over money. I needed help with contempt and enforcement and have been pro se. I’m getting beat up and my kid is being withheld from me. Battery charges have been filed on O.P. And Mr.Law’s urgency seemed genuine. Fast forward to now, my judge is on maternity leave. Nothing has been filed. And I still have no refund check meaning I cannot even hire another attorney until I receive it. Called again today to inquire if the refund check was finally sent out and got the same blurry answers. “Uhhh we don’t know if your check was sent out, only the attorney would know”. Only the “always busy” attorney would know when the OFFICE mail is mailed out instead of the people working IN the office?? Told I was going to receive a callback from Mr. Law regarding the refund check, you think I got one? Of course not! So now I’m just out of money and still do not have an attorney. I’m beyond frustrated with this Firm! EDIT: After I made this review, Mr.Law coincidentally emailed me less than an hour later stating my refund check (that he claimed he already put in the mail weeks ago!) was still in his office and for me to come pick it up. Keep in mind, I ALREADY VOLUNTERRED TO PICK IT UP A WEEK AGO AND HE SAID NO. He then emailed me today THREATENING LEGAL ACTION for this review! Funny how he has time to bash his thumbs on a keyboard for payment and replies to reviews but no urgency for filings and court! No wonder this firm has so many bar complaints!
Inept. Absolutely worst legal representation, or there lack of, ever received. Billed for nothing, and took almost a year to receive remainder of retainer. Invoice is laughable at best and just lacks professionalism. Its amazing to me that before paperwork was even started me and my partner where able to mediate and child support payments where already taken by the state. The entire competence of Josh's team, or lack there of again , is baffling. I am glad I spent 1800 for absolutely nothing . Attached is invoice. Im guessing quantity is hrs and price changes ?? I mean seriously. Save yourself time and money hire anyone else . Or just use chat gpt or Google. Much more professional than Josh ever was. Also doesn't return calls. Semi decent with text. I asked for an invoice and refund in march of last year, it is now January when I finally receive a response and a refund of the remaining funds which if I will say should have been what I paid and not the other way around. Josh obviously needs the money more than me or my 1 year old daughter. Wouldn't recommend for my worst enemy. Received a very nice message from him after review as well .
I was going through a custody battle and had nowhere else to go until I found Law Legal Group. Law legal group took care of my case, helped answer all my questions and it was a great experience from start to finish. I also referred my Cousin to them as well.
I am incredibly grateful to this law firm for guiding me through one of the most difficult times in my life. They were professional, compassionate, and always responsive to my questions and concerns. They made sure I understood every step of the process and truly had my best interests at heart. I couldn’t have asked for better representation during my divorce and highly recommend them to anyone needing family law support.
I hired this firm expecting professional legal representation. What I received instead was one of the most shocking displays of incompetence and negligence I have ever experienced in any professional setting. The attorney I retained did not even appear for my scheduled court hearing. Instead, a last-minute stand-in representative showed up who openly admitted to the judge that she knew nothing about my case, did not know my name, and had not reviewed any of the facts before walking into the courtroom. Watching this unfold in front of a judge was humiliating, stressful, and deeply damaging to my case. After failing to appear and failing to prepare a representative, the attorney then attempted to protect himself by filing a motion to dismiss rather than taking accountability for what happened. At no point was there transparency, responsibility, or meaningful communication. I was left to suffer the consequences of their complete lack of preparation and professionalism. What makes this even more disturbing is that the firm was fully aware of my disability, and all correspondence, instructions, and communications between myself and the attorney were fully documented. Despite this, I was still subjected to this level of disregard for basic professional responsibility. Due to my busy academic schedule and personal obligations, I have not yet had the time to fully pursue this matter. I am currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity with approximately 11 months remaining, and once my schedule allows, I fully intend to pursue appropriate legal action regarding this representation. If anyone would like to know the truth about how this firm treats its clients, you are welcome to respond to this review. I will provide detailed documentation, written correspondence, and supporting evidence to substantiate everything stated here. This experience cost me time, money, emotional stress, and severely damaged my trust in the legal system. I would never recommend this firm to anyone under any circumstances.
