My wife and I decided to update our wills, living wills, and powers of attorney recently. In choosing an attorney, we desired to find one in my hometown of Jacksonville and reached out to a few in the area to determine cost, location, ease of access, and the friendliness of first contact. We narrowed it down to Kevin Sanders, who, by word of mouth and public ratings, seemed to be one of the finest. We thoroughly discussed terms and details on the telephone and email first and set an appointment that was quick and convenient. The location of firm’s office in central downtown Jacksonville is convenient to most facilities and an easy exit off of I-10. The building is a nicely refurbished stand-alone structure with ample parking and well signed. The safe and secure entrance was comforting, and we were greeted promptly at door at our appointed time by Mr. Sanders. The interior is newly refurbished and very welcome and comfortable, not “stuffy” and he made us both feel an important part of his business. After introductions to Mr. Sanders staff, we were presented with the documents as agreed to previously. He encouraged us to read all of them thoroughly before signing, which we did, finding no errors or omissions. As we signed them, he and his staff affixed their signatures and seals. The entire process was fast and easy. Mr. Sanders and his staff took the time to assure we had no questions. Interestingly enough, one of the best parts of the process was being given the official “originals” and not copes as many law offices do. That means in the future, when needed, I don’t have to go back to the firm, or my heirs don’t have the wonder where the original is. Overall this is the best experience I’ve had with any legal proceedings. I’d definitely recommend the office of Kevin Sanders. Friendly, convenient, competitive, and easy to work with.
