The initial amount received from our awful insurance company was less than half of what it will actually cost to repair our house from Hurricane Ian damage. We were at the end of our rope and nearing the deadline to file a lawsuit. Many of our friends and acquaintances had gone the “public adjuster” route, with mixed results (Or even worse, just settled for the pittance received from their insurance co.).
